Gloria R. Acuna
Hello, my name is Gloria Acuna, founder of Federal Immigration & Document Management. I was born and raised in the state of Texas and currently reside in the state of Florida. Throughout the years, I have had several job positions that have given me the experience and knowledge to get to the point where I am today. My journey began at South Texas College, where I first obtained my medical transcriptionist certification and at the same time became a Health Information Specialist, Health Unit Coordinator, Medical Records Clerk, and File Clerk. Throughout my education, I had the opportunity to work for some of the most important hospitals located on the South Border of the Rio Grande Valley, Mission Regional Hospital, McAllen Heart Hospital, Mcallen Regional Hospital, and Edinburg Regional Hospital. While working for these hospitals, I became the Supervisor for the Medical Records Department/Release of Information for approximately eight years. After, I had the opportunity to work for Apex Document Management, where I became one of four Case Managers who had the responsibility to request/retrieve medical records, insurance, and financial records for legal purposes. Another position, that helped me gain experience in my field was being the Copy Department Supervisor where I implemented my Health Information knowledge to produce a high volume of copies that were assembled and analyzed. I recently obtained my Notary Signing Agent certification, became a Lay Minister and got ordained as a wedding officiant. I am on the path to pursue my goal to become an Attorney and provide my services to residents of the State of Florida and throughout the United States.
